Andrew Beam, PhD is a Visiting Lecturer in the Department of Epidemiology, Harvard T.H Chan School of Public Health. His research develops machine learning and artificial intelligence methods to improve healthcare and medicine. Andrew has a particular interest in neonatal/perinatal medicine, and how machine learning can be used to improve outcomes of patients in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU). He is the Head of Machine Learning at Flagship VL57 and a Senior Fellow at Flagship Pioneering.
